DC1 - MC1 upgrade price?

It sounds every bit as good as it did when you bought it, and Lexicon is going to extra trouble to make sure you can stay current with a software and remote upgrade for $300, even though the DC-1 is out of production. I've got news for you: that's more than Meridian or Proceed have EVER done for their customers, or any other high-end manufacturer. You seem to feel that Lexicon has an obligation to upgrade your hardware in perpetuity. Wrong! They don't even have to offer an upgrade path AT ALL, though they will. And you have the arrogance to assign a dollar value to an upgrade for a piece of equipment you have never seen or heard. Quite frankly, it's whining attitudes like yours that could easily convince a company that they're going to get spat on no matter what they do, so why bother offering upgrades at all? Kurt's 1/15 post ("Realistic Expectations") said it moare eloquently. I suggest you read it. Then make good on your "threat" and buy a Meridian or Proceed or whatever. See what kind of hardware trade-ins they offer you down the road.
