DTS decoder in DC-1 decode DTS DVDs correctly?

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 98):

does the DTS decoder in the DC-1 decode DTS DVDs correctly? i have heard the some older DTS decoders will not decode DTS DVDs and i was wondering if the DC-1 applies?
