Oh, ok guys. You win. The point of debate is that two sides of opinion are welcomed. Philip, you certainly don't hold back yours... Buzz, you clearly are likened to the messenger who has been told to "stall them" for the last several months.
I have been very satisfied with my DC-1. What is wrong with the pursuit of the pursuit of the "latest and greatest"? Most normal people don't purchase $40K home theater systems anyway, and those of us who do clearly strive for acoustical perfection.
I merely express my frustration with the plunge in resale market value of a product that I purchased 12 months ago. Whether I tradeup or not will not revolve around cost of the upgrade rather than improvement in the product via new heralded technology.
Either way guys, I like a good debate and I am sorry if you equate an opinion that doesn't mimic yours as "childish."
My local Lexicon dealer has no information to offer. They have no DC-2's in stock and will offer no availability date. They are not sure wheteher or not if they will honor the upgrade path to the MC-1 because they have had no Lexicon sales in the last 3 months due to the announcement and delay of the new and improved and CHEAPER DC-2. I am not the only frustrated customer out here guys...
