I am right now listening to a CP-1+ in my basement office that was once my main system. With six old small bookshelf speakers and a set of Radio Shack passive subs, the system sounds as good as any receiver I have heard. I replaced the CP-1 with a DC-1 without trade-in because I could get a better discount than the refund on the CP-1+. The DC-1 system does everything I could ask for. I have gained tremendous enjoyment from both these systems and they still offer me more flexibility than if I had bought high end pro-logic receivers.

I'm actually excited about the chance to pick a loaded DC-1 in the $1600 price range. If I have a Lexicon system on each of three floors maybe I will learn how to optimize the thousands of possible settings.
