Rob,

No analogue matrix mode can operate with a mono signal, the information contains no phase cues and no differences between the left and right channels. The Lexicon thinks it's getting a L = R signal and steers all the content to the centre channel. All processors operate in exactly the same way.

The only mode that works with mono material is Mono Logic.

: ok, that was the problem, i ran a cable straight from the wall into the system bypassing the cable box and all is fine, going thru the box converts it to mono for some reason.

Does the cable box have a volume control? If so, turn it all the way up. Some boxes when reduced in volume destroy the stereo signal elements.

Stuart.
