I have the Proceed Amp2 and Amp3 that I got used for $2500 and they are a great match for the DC1. I have Martin Logan speakers which are not very forgiving of input imperfection. The results have been excellant. Check the used market for a quality amp within your range. With just an of/on switch, there is not a lot to go wrong on a used power amp.
