"For those who may be wondering, power sensors are useful when you are writing macros that rely on the on/off state of a component that has only a toggle power command. Combined with a little logic, the power sensor allows you to implement discrete on and off commands."

Do any of the remotes implement the old 'Core' remote's way of dealing with the problem of a toggle power command?

What it did was assign two buttons to the single IR command. One button was considered 'Off' the other was 'On.' When you press (or call in a macro) the 'On' button it would send the command but then disabled itself from sending any further commands (either from pressing or a macro) until the 'Off' button was pressed or called in a macro. The 'Off' button the disabled itself and enabled the 'On' button again.

As long as you just used to remote to turn everything on or off the macros would always work fine.

NOTE TO LEXICON: PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE TO THE 500t!

Shawn
