MC1 Standby LED

Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (Win95; I):

I know that this is going to sound like dumb question, but can anyone throw some light on this enquiry.

In the instuction manual on page 1 in section 8 IR RECEIVER AND LED, it states that the green activity LED remains illuminated when the MC1 is in standby mode, but on my MC1 a completly different LED comes on which is red.

What I want to know is this correct or is the manual correct?

Apart from this the MC1 operates correctly. Thanks in advance...
