Thanks! I agree with your conclusion whole-heartedly, and with Scott's assertion that Surround EX is a step back compared to what Logic 7 achieves with a 7-channel setup. I personally don't think adding a center rear is necessary, I was only talking about a way to achieve it if someone absolutely had to.

With any luck, Lexicon is working on some way of using Surround EX signals to greater advantage than a single rear center.
