FI-NAL-LY got my MC1

Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (WinNT; I):

Well, I finally received my MC1, and all I can say is -- WOW! It's not an overwhelming sound enhancement (although there is plenty of that), but the overall build quality and little things.

Sound was significantly cleaner both highs and lows. Music logic seemed a bit more enveloping. Most of the other modes seemed without too much change.

Also, I really am happy with the build quality of the new units. Previously I have shied away from Monster Cables due to how tight the connections were. I don't think tight connections are a bad thing, but I literally pulled the shield off one of the RCA jacks on my DC1 and had to send the DC1 in for repair. I feel MUCH more comfortable with this unit. Lastly, on a personnel preference I am so glad to be able to hear some sound during forward and reverse scanning of a cd. Previously with the DC1 taking straight digital in the unit would basically mute whenever I ff or rew. This was ok, but you couldn't get any feel for where you were at.

All in all, I have to say that I am very happy with the MC1 upgrade to my system.
