Noah, Stuart,

You really like me, you really do! (Oscar acceptance speech in the works)

Stuart-'Stone the Crows', never heard that one. I kind of like it. Good visual.

As far as the DD quality, here's a guess. When CD came out, and you seniors will have to help me here because I wasn't born yet, they sounded bad because of the poor convertion techniques of the time. But was some of that bad sound because you were hearing for the first time the recording process noise that had always been covered over by the high noise floor in vinyl? It then took the recording industry a time to clean that up.

If that was the case, big inexperienced if here, then could the same thing be happening in DD. Could it be that the noise is just more clearly heard now? That it was covered over before by the noise in VHS or even LD? That it will just take time for the recording industry to catch up.

Just a thought. Any comments?

Josh
