96KHz 24bit DAC/DC-2 question.

Using Mozilla/4.03 [en] (Win95; U):

I am not very clear on the terminology of 96KHz.

My DVD players claims that it will output 96KHz or 48KHz, can the DC-2 play 96KHz or will it require it to be downconverted?

My DVD instruction booklet states "Some 96KHz DVD's are copy protected. With this kind of disk, no signal is outputed from the digital output terminal." does this mean I need to have both the digital and analog output of my DVD player connected to the DC-2, if so then where do I make the selection of the output being used, on the DVD player or on the DC-2, or on both?

Does anybody know where I can get a sample audio CD and DVD that is encoded in 96KHz, so that I can make use of this feature to see if I have it connected properly?
