Connection of Future Digital Amplifiers

To answer your question it will not be compatible with such a system as it does not have digital outputs for all channels - so it would have to go through an A/D conversion then a D/A at the speaker end. Unless Lexicon offered an upgrade to provide digital outputs somehow.

And don't forget that all these fancy systems do is push the DAC and amplification stage further down towards the speaker, which may or may not be an advantage, but those stages will always need to be there as what comes out of your speakers is and always will be analogue soundwaves.
