96KHz 24bit DAC/DC-2 question.

There is an expansion card for the DC-2 on the horizon which will allow it to accept 96kHz. OK, no DVD player is supposed to output 96kHz from one of its digital outputs, and none do, except models from Pioneer. All others, when faced with a 96kHz disc downsample it to 48kHz. If you have a Pioneer, you'll need to select this option when playing a 96kHz disc into the DC-2. : Does anybody know where I can get a sample audio CD and DVD that is encoded in 96KHz, so that I can make use of this feature to see if I have it connected properly? Sure. Try either of the following: Classic call their discs DAD, Chesky correctly call them DVD (they're actually DVD-Video discs).
