I mean, to be blunt, the lead singers from Pink Floyd can't sing… live anyway, but boy can they play. It always seems a shame to ruin the music with the crooning. Are you familiar with the English classical/rock group Sky? It consisted of top session musicians and musicians recognised in their own right - Kevin Peek, John Williams (guitar), Herbie Flowers (bass), Tristram Fry (drums) and Steve Grey (keyboards post Monkman). They could play anyone into the ground but didn't make the mistake of believing they could sing.
