I live in NYC but have purchased a great deal of equipment from Progressive Audio in Columbus Ohio. They are not a mail order shop per se, but they are extremely fair, patient and knowledgeable.

Also, they carry a huge selection of brands, including Theta, Krell, Lexicon, Sunfire, Yamaha and Denon among others in the a/v processor universe.
