Surround Professional Releases ITU Specs!!

If you are interested in setting up your DC-1 or MC-1 to the International Telecommunications Specification, Surround Professional Magazine just released them in issue #4 pages 46-53. This will save you the 50 bucks it would have cost you to get it from ITU in Switzerland. There are also some wonderful discussions regarding the new approval of the DVD-A specification with an MLP (Meridian Lossless Packaging) discussion on how it works, a DTV and Dolby E discussion, and the MC-1 made the "What's New and Happening" section on page 9. Also, Tomlinson Holman (the guy who started THX - Tomlinson Holman eXperiment - for those who didn't know) himself has a great article on breaking beyond the 5.1 barrier and into as far as 10.2. There is also a great Q/A interview with Bruce Botnick who mixed Air Force One, Poltergeist, Star Trek, and others. You can check out Surround Professional at www.surroundpro.com for more info.
