I tend to be apprehensive about the acceptance of DVD-Audio also, not in our marketplace where we're willing to support all manner of niche products (DTS, HDCD et al) but in the general consumer marketplace - the one that matters if the format is to become really successful.

Unless the production of CDs ceases to be replaced with backward compatible DVD-A, or moreover SACD which includes a tentative promise of this, the format offers no benefits to Britney bopping around her bedroom or So-Cool with his boombox on a street corner. I imagine die-hard two-channel listeners, even in the upper end of the market will resist the change to the gimmick of multi-channel music.
