I must have answered this question about 50 times in the last month, but I understand as most folks are not in the unique situation I am in. I have a unique relationship with essentially all pro gear manufacturers (one of whom is Lexicon) which allows me to purchase gear straight from those manufacturers for my personal theater, and for those I design/build/install at a good percentage off their MSRP. For a good price I purchased my DC-1 about 2-3 years ago straight from the Lexicon factory—no dealer involved. In the trade in option in Lexicon offered me towards an MC-1 it worked out better for me to sell my DC-1 outright for whatever I could get for it, and then purchase my MC-1 from them (Lexicon) afterwards. After selling my DC-1 and LDD1 for around $1200, I had to pay more than I wanted for my MC-1 from the Lex factory, but I simply am too impatient, and was willing to take a loss now to have the MC-1 now. That is really as far as I can go with this—hope it makes sense.Chuck
