Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (Win98; I):

Mark,

The DIN cable supplied is connected to the pins which are live whenever the MC-1 is on, not the trigger pins. Instead of pin 3 and either 1 or 2 (which are ground) you need pin 5. If you don't want to de-solder the pins in the DIN, you could always chop it off altogether and use the bare wire terminals.
