Just to expand on Philip's excellent advice to you, besides just being a better speaker than the AC-1, the AC-2 matches the 2.9's unique driver phasing scheme. So if you decide to go with the 2.9, you won't find a better match than the AC-2. However, if you did decide to go with the 2.5i, then the AC-2 wouldn't be appropriate and you should go with the AC-1 or any other center channel speaker that has all it's drivers wired "in-phase".
