Thanks again for the idea.

I guess this is out of the topic but it would be a relief if I could voice out this particular incident that I encountered just this afternoon. As usual, at least for the past few days, I was shopping around the Kowloon side for my HT speakers, I looked at the Celestion A3 tower, which is pretty reasonable at US$2300. But could not fnd a better deal for the NHT 2.9, the lowest quote I've got is US$2500. So I went into this shop which is an exclusive dealer for several high end brands, Meridian, M&K, Revel, Magnaplanar, Thiel, Musical Fidelity, Vidikron, Sonus Faber etc. And I asked this guy about the M&K S150 system, I told him I had a Lexicon processor and wanted to set up a 7.1 channel system, I told him my listening area is around 250 sq ft and he said for small space like this I don't need 7.1 but 5.1 should suffice, I told him that I would like to take advantage of the "Logic 7" feature of the Lexicon and he said "it" was no different that those offered by the Denon 5700DTS. I asked him again for opinion on which type of speakers would give good results on both video and music, he said that since I've got a Lexicon, it's only good for home theater but not for music, so I should eye for home theater based speakers. He further states that unlike "some" processors that can process music better, I better stick with the M&K since it has the best "dipole" or "tripole" speakers in the world, then I asked him opinion in opting for a "dipole" or "monopole" for the sides and rear speakers, he give me quite a surprising answer and said go for dipoles for both sides and rears, since they could give the best dispersion in surround sound. The conversation really makes me feel uncomfortable, even though I saw something interesting (a Thiel SCS2), but I decided it was time to go.

Now that I've said it, I felt quite relieved. Hope its not too long.

Daniel
