Hi Philip, I have to disagree with this statement. If anything, properly set up (on stands, away from the walls), the SuperOne's have very damped bass. You can get them to sound bloated if you do it the way I have them set up in my office: next to a monitor on some data books on a desk, near a wall, they produce bloated upper bass. An example of a speaker with bloated bass to subjectively extend its lower end is the PSB Alpha. To Daniel, I agree with Philip --- the caliber of your equipment really requires very good speakers. Since you already have existing speakers, I would suggest getting the best fronts and center you can afford, and use your existing speakers as surrounds, and save up until you can get matching surrounds. I disagree with the so-called "high-end" dealer you visited on the appropriateness of Lexicon products in a music system. The primary reason I picked a Lexicon was because it sounded so good on music. It also turned out to be a pretty decent home theater processor. The dealer's also very wrong about Logic 7 --- there's nothing in the Denon like it. --Andre
