I am not sure if you are buying or reviewing but here are some comments.

I have both the M&K 150THX and 5000THX satelites. If ones budget allows, the 5000THX's sound alot better. (no new age psycho-babble here:-) I think they are well worth the additional cost.

Because they are THX, they are sensitive to listening position, especially vertically. I have heard some describe M&K's as lacking in highs. I believe this is probably caused by the listener being too far off axis.

When combined with one or two subs, they make a nice system for both music and theater.
