Hi Matt,

The rear delay option helps this out --- it will delay the rears up to 20 ms beyond their calibrated position. This means that the rears can be virtually up to 20 feet away. I have my rears and sides equidistant from my listening position, and find that increasing the rear delay to 15ms really helps clean up the imaging of the fronts. You should experiment in your room to determine the best setting.

You should calibrate the Lexicon to the actual distances of your speakers, and then use the rear delay to tweak it.
