MC-1 Music Logic Weirdness

Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (Win95; I):

As I already posted, I just got my MC-1 installed into my system. I have noticed that the default settings for Music Logic make this effect sound very weird, with almost all the sound coming from the surrounds. The other effects sound okay, and my DC-1 certainly didn't sound like this. Anyone else notice this? What settings are you using for music logic with your MC-1? Thanks!
