Michael,

: Has M&K let you listen to the S100B (or the very similar S150THX)? If so, I'm wondering whether they compare favorably to the S1C or the NHT 3.3's for that matter.

Nope, not yet, but I can always ask and it's worth a shot. From choice, I'd probably prefer the non-THX flavour and listen to the dispersion pattern M&K like rather than the one imposed upon them.

: After reading some of the recent threads on speaker selection, I started to wonder if I was the only one around here who doesn't own NHT's!

No NHT here either, but if they'd forgotten about the SuperTwo's I would not have complained. This is ché Tannoy/M&K/REL… err… and ACI. I'm hoping for some Genelec samples soon, they were impressive and didn't need amplification so were cost-effective too. If they sound as good here as they did at CEDIA, I've got a permanent spot for them. Did you run into Genelec when you were looking at semi-pro equipment for piano recital purposes recently?

Stuart.
