Les,

: Last year I purchased some Genelec 1030A's for a couple of control rooms at the TV studios where I work. Darn, those little buggers go loud! Sound good too!

High time they were hooked up to a Lexicon then! Did you know that the gentlemen behind Genelec were Lexicon employees and broke away to found that company? At the CEDIA they were using an MC-1 as a source (with no amps of course) and were really impressed. In fact, they'd been using it all day with Dolby Digital sources but only in matrix Logic 7 from the 2/0.0 soundtrack.

I'm also curious about the models with an S/P-DIF input and what type of data it supports. For example, is there a toggle to select left or right with a bi-phase signal? I also wonder if they'd be usable in a Meridian system - one way to get away from the latter company's own loudspeakers perhaps.

Stuart.
