Thanks for providing this clarification. With regard to the DC-1, we have been careful not to imply that there were significant performance differences when comparing units with 20-bit D/A's and those with 24-bit D/A's. The D/A's used in the DC-1 changed from 20-bit to 24-bit and we offered a factory upgrade to those who simply had to have them. However, we consider the version 3 software (which costs less than upgrading the D/A's in the DC-1)to be an investment which will provide DC-1 owners with improved performance. This has to do with improved algrithms, bass management, etc., and does not affect the D/A's in any way.

Oh yeah, we're working on that 40,000 Watt amp :).
