mc1 trade in program

Wanting to and being able to are two separate issues. The thread started out with a discrimination between the processing capabilities of the two units. Feeding a 24/96 CD to the direct-to-DAC MC-1 inputs certainly exploits the processing capabilities beyond 16/44. Whether this amounts to a significant audible difference is another issue.

An even more pragmatic consideration is the fact that there is a virtually no software available in this format. Hence, it isn't a make-or-break issue one way or the other, IMO. Once again, I was speaking specifically about the processing capabilities of the tgwo products.
