Do you have your orange outlets set up to use an independent ground, rather than the a.c. panel ground? That's how they are designed to be used, I believe. Otherwise any industrial grade outlet (which just seem to grip the contacts better) will offer the same "performance".

If you're worried about the quality of the a.c. reaching your gear, I would worry more about what's coming from the electricity company to your panel, than how it is distributed from the panel through the house to your gear.
