Lexicon Sides & Rear surround allocation

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98; DigExt):

Hi! Im thinking of adding sides to my setup- currently I only have rears. I was wondering if anyone knows how the lexicon processors (I have a mc-1) handle the surround information with regard to the surround info. What I am wondering is how does the surround information get channeled, is it a matrix between the front, and rear that is applied to the side, or is the surround information routed to the sides and then somehow applied to the rears later to add depth? Thanks!
