Bare Wire Trigger
Posted by Doug Wells [IP: 128.169.248.209] on July 27, 1999 at 20:45:08 I am trying to do a bare wire trigger off the MC-1 to one of my Proceed amps. Things not going smoothly first off. I bought a mini-phono cable from Rat Shack, and bare wired one end, coating with solder to make a good end. I removed the screws from the top of the bare wire trigger positive and ground, but have had some difficulty getting this to work. Just to small to work with is my problem if they are supposed to go under the screws? This just does not seem right and the manual does not discuss this that I can find. What are the holes for on the front side of the bare wire trigger assembly? Is that for clips are are you supposed to put the wire in from below and then the screw tightens down on it? Next, can you pop the assembly off the back of the case to make it easier to work with, and then pop back on? I just wanted to make sure before forcing anything! Thanks, Lexman
