DC-1 2.10, Avia, and LFE

Hi all,
I'm fiddling with Avia and I've come across a problem. I have my sub set where it should be with reference to the Lexicon internal test signals. Fine. During the 6-channel sub sweep in chapter 7, the bass goes from Left-Front, around to left-rear, and then to LFE. During this mains sweep, the LFE indicator shows nothing, and the sub works fine, right where I set it.

Now, when the sweep reaches the LFE, it's a whole different story. The LFE indicator is mostly in the yellow, but the sub output drops significantly. I've seen this happen with the Lex before but wasn't really sure about how it dealt with the LFE. My mains are Boston Acoustic THX speakers, the sub is a Snell THX, with the cutoffs at 80Hz.

My LFE mix is at +00 and yet it still sounds weak. When the cycle goes back to the left-front main, the sub kicks in again. I can't seem to balance the LFE and the non-LFE bass correctly. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.

Mike
