DC-1 Phantom Center?

Using Mozilla/4.05 (Macintosh; I; PPC, Nav):

I know that I'llprobably find out once I get my DC-1 hooked up and running, but until then...

Has anyone used the DC-1v.3.1 without the center speaker? Does it have a phantom
mode that sends the center information to the front left and right?

Questions: Can I turn off the center just for a specific effect, e.g., Music Surround, or will it be off for all effects?
One other question: With subwoofer NO configured, where is the LFE information
sent?
I'm just trying to prethink my options before setting up. Thanks.
