Can the LDD-1 demodulator be turned off?

Posted by Don Coleman [IP: 24.4.254.70] on July 31, 1999 at 13:25:48
Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 98):

Although I still play laser discs from time to time, I would like to conventiently be able to turn it off when not in use and on when needed. Presently, it turns on whenever the MC-1 is on. (Also turning on the LDD-1s two little green LEDs.) That means it is on when I'm playing DVDs, using the FM tuner and other components, which do not benefit from an AC-3/RF Demodulator.
