MC1 Software Upgrade Question

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 95):

Would someone out there let me know if the MC1 Software upgrade scheduled for sometime this Fall include anything other than SURROUND EX. I don't think this would be useful for me since at the present time I only have a 5.1 speaker setup. Would the software upgrade...
A.)help out us folks who have the infamous DIGITAL LOCK PROBLEM?

B.)help fix the BASS ENHANCEMENT problem with DTS material(shifting to the RIGHT when BASS ENHANCEMENT is TURNED ON with DTS material)

C.)and finally,and hopefully,can we play MONO LOGIC with DVD's. There are so many MONO DVD'S out there that it would be a PLUS!!! Currently when I have a MONO DVD or LASER DISC I try MUSIC SURROUND and atleast I get sound from all 3 front channels instead of just from the CENTER if I use LOGIC 7,etc. I would like to hear how other's play their MONO DISCS....
