:I am wondering which DVD player you own. I have the latest SONY 7700 and I am told that this machine and some others have a little "delay" with DUEL LAYER DVD's. So I think this delay you are having is caused by your DVD player and not the LEXICON. I only own 1 DVD w/ A DUEL LAYER and have not played it yet. I'll let you know when I do.

Anthony,
I have a Pioneer DVL 909 combi player.

It was an assumption on my part that the freezing of the image was occuring during a dual-layer shift. Now I'm not so sure. When It does occur, the Lex displays "no audio" and "Logic 7" for a second or so and continues with the movie. I do not know how to identify a dual-layer disc unless I've read about it in a review. I understand Titanic will be dual-layer.

It's no problem if that is all it ever amounts to. It is a curiosity, however, that this freezing never occured with the same DVDs when played on the DC-1. Except for the additon of the MC-1, all the equipment is the same.

The time of the freezing varies from disc to disc but happens between 70 and 80 minutes.

No problem, but it has my interest.

Thanks for your interest,
Don
