I didn't realize there was an article on the MC1 in Absolute Sound. I did read the article in Perfect Vision and agreed with the comments on the surround modes but totally disagreed with the comments on 2-channel reporduction. As I was a former DC1 owner and auditioned the Proceed AVP and the Meridian 561, the MC1, IMHO, was the better performer in 2 channel playback. Robert
