It looks like I'm going to be outvoted but I'll express my opinion anyway. I'm actually not ambivalent on this issue because I often listen to music with my eyes closed. I like to make adjustments on the fly without opening my eyes because opening them would break the "trance". But the current functionality of the DC-1 always leaves me in doubt as to whether my next press will cause a change or not. I'll adjust the fade a little and then find myself racing against it reverting to the "base" screen so I'll be sure that my next press will do something.

The importance of this issue is very small relative to my overall enjoyment of the DC-1. But if given a choice I have a definite preference that the initial button press enact a change with respect to all aspects of controlling the DC-1.
