In what way? The effect buttons aren't programmable in any version of any software, the only aspect that is being the default mode per input and data format. The remote effect keys simply select the default mode per effect, so the Dolby key engages Pro-logic with a PCM or analogue input and Dolby Digital with a suitable input. You can't change that key to load, say, Panorama.
