Palm OmniRemote & Lexicon processor

Using Mozilla/4.04 [en] (Win95; I):

Hello,

If one of you is using a Palm 3 (or 3x)with OmniRemote software (from Pacific Neotek), could you tell me if you were able to correctly train all the codes of the Lexicon remote control ?

In my case it seems more painful than with other equipments (like TV or VCR).
What frequency have you selected ?

Moreover the actual working distance is less than 2 meters. I know there is an OmniRemote infrared module, but before purchasing it, I would like to be sure it is REALLY more powerful and effective.
