Hi Laurent

U'll probably have to cross over to Forum 3 soon but (sorry, Stuart, just a quick one about the Palm III and Omniremote).

The DC-1's remote/receiver system is probably one of the best in electronics. So when I installed Omniremote on the IIIx, I managed to train it to everything BUT it was never comfortable to me. With a Pronto, when U click a button (virtual or real), U'll get the same solid handshaking as the DC-1's remote.

With the IIIx/Omniremote (even with the upgrade IR module from PacificNeoTek), it was frustrating to say the least. For example, selecting Sel on the IIIx, there's probably a 50% chance you'll have to do it again before the DC-1 receives it, and a 30% chance of a third attempt.

Get the Pronto. It's better at being a Universal remote.

P.S. Once again, Stuart, I apologise for the remote diversion.
