My vote is to change it. I am a "gain rider" and after having my DC-1 for more than a year and a half, it still annoys me that I have to "double click" the volume button just to make a one dB change. This is actually the only thing I dislike about my DC-1! I love the rest of the user interface, but everytime I have to "double click" I think how could the brilliant engineers at Lexicon of done everything else so right and something as simple as volume control so wrong?

No other pre-amps that I know of behave like the Lexicon DC-1's remote volume control.

The best solution would be to make this new and "correct" volume personality a programable mode in the OSD menus, this way the majority as it appears here would still have it the old way.
