Thanks, Philip! Yes, I was trying to integrate my separate side subs with side speakers, so maybe I was on the right track (I haven't yet plugged the sides into the front outputs to accomplish this). Up to now I have used the internal test signals (I am very new to the Lexicon, and have things set up on a temporary basis while completing my theater room).

I have two pairs of old B & W Matrix One speakers, and have been using three of them as fronts. B & W claimed to have matched each pair, but apparently not to any standard reference because the difference in timbre between my left front and center is astounding!

Anyway, all this fooling around is rather fun. In the meantime I am very happy with the sound I'm getting with my DVD movies.

Cheers yourself,

Bill Bunker
