Hi Bill,

Don't be too quick to condemn B&W. Spatial positioning, room effects can significantly alter the sound between even identically matched speakers. It is just one of the vagaries of psychoacoustics.

If there are differences between the speakers, you could try swapping their positions--perhaps the speaker differences and room effects might cancel each other out for smooth integration. Then again, it may get worse.
