Lexicon: why no crossovers at 10 Hz Interval?

Particularly with Bass Enhance it is important to be able to squeeze every last Hz out of the side speakers. A lot of people with typical bookshelf speakers for the sides could probably realize some of the benefits of Bass Enhance without buying new hardware if Lexicon provided at least a 60 Hz crossover. Lexicon has stated that providing different crossover points involves a significant rewrite of their surround algorithms. I don't believe they've ever stated that it can't be done, just that it's a significant effort. They must feel other work is of a higher priority. Since I'm certainly not privy to their decision making factors I won't pass judgement on their choices. I can only say that from the user's perspective this along with the lack of 48kHz support for all surround effects is a disappointment. -Dylan
