Those are all good points. I would also add that people should crossover their speakers substantially above (an octave if possible) their speaker's rated cutoff point, so they don't cascade their speaker's natural rolloff along with the rolloff provided by the Lexicon's filters. Such a cascade can cause not only anomalous frequency response, but also phase response problems that can affect frequencies above the crossover point. I sometimes think that people who want fine-grained xover points (which is very demanding of computing power, if they are implemented correctly) want to match the crossover points to their speakers' rolloffs, which is not such a good thing to do. Within reason, I'm happiest when the MC-1's crossover point is farthest away from my speakers' natural rolloffs.

I'd also agree with Shawn that the poster should use the 120 Hz filters.
