Lexicon: why no crossovers at 10 Hz Interval?

If they were you would just run them LARGE and high pass the sides and rears and let the bass be redirected to the LARGE mains. "This all means that I'm missing a lot of low which is unnecessary IMHO. Lexicon, why not make the crossovers in steps of 10 Hz?" Even if they did this you would be missing all the low end below 50hz because you are rolling it off and not sending it anywhere else. A better option (but not the cheapest) would be to add a good subwoofer to the sub out on the Lexicon. This way you could high pass your mains at 80hz (for the reasons given earlier) and everything below that point would be sent to your subwoofer. And you would pick up over another octave of extension with a good sub. Have you tried your mains at 40hz? Shawn
