MC-1 best upgrade prices?

Using Mozilla/4.7 [en] (Win98; I):

I just returned from an out of town meeting, and while I was between breaks, I noticed a "Lexicon" audio dealer across the street. Lucky me! Anyways, upon entering, I was formally greeted- shown around the store, etc. Low and behold, I start chatting with the salesman- and find out he is KNOWLEDGABLE about the Lexicon line. I inform him of all the good things I have read here on this forum, my DC-1, blah blah- next thing I know, we are discussing trading in my DC-1 on an MC-1. He has 2 people looking for MINT (which mine is) DC-1's- they are not interested in the DC-2 or MC-1. Go figure. Anyways, he offered me a deal of trading in my DC-1, for an MC-1 for a difference of 2345.00. Is this a good deal? It seems to be- but I haven't done alot of researching on the pricing of the MC-1. And, he is an authorized dealer. Can anyone comment?
